The firm is now looking to add to its Property Litigation department.
The Role
The Property Litigation department is partner led with an assistant solicitor and paralegal support. A vacancy has arisen within our busy department for a property litigation lawyer, preferably with experience of residential long leasehold disputes, but this is not essential. The role will consist of dealing with existing contested files whilst maintaining and developing relationships with our valued referrers. Examples of work undertaken is as follows:
- Property litigation for landlords, management companies and RTM companies of residential properties in Prime Central London. The role will include service charge disputes, breaches of covenant, bringing and defending claims in the First Tier Tribunal and the courts, forfeiture proceedings, as well as providing general advice to these clients. In addition the opportunity will arise to deal with contested lease extension and enfranchisement matters.
- Real property disputes including boundaries, easements, breaches of freehold covenant,
co-ownership/trusts of land. - Commercial landlord and tenant disputes.
- Residential tenant eviction.
Who are you?
You will be a NQ – 5 years PQE solicitor or legal executive who is keen to develop your property litigation practice with an established firm. Alternatively, you may be someone returning to work following a career break.
Although a full time position would be preferred we are reasonably flexible in terms of hours, and can accommodate hybrid working from home arrangements.
